The announcement was official as of yesterday that rapper Wyclef Jean, known for the third member of the Fugees and activist, that he will be running for the position of President in Haiti for the November election. Jean told a CNN reporter that “the youth population has suffered for 200 years…I’ve been drafted by the youth of Haiti”.

The streets of Toronto were flooded yesterday after the FIFA World Cup finals between Spain and Netherlands.

As the game went into overtime Spain won 1-0 making it their first World Cup trophy. Although Netherland fans cried for their loss, Spain fans ran on the streets screaming, hooting and honking all night.
