Canada has created their own tribute song for all those affected by the devastation in Haiti and used K’Naan’s “Wavin Flag” for all these young artist to come together. Avril, Derek WIbley, Kardinal, Jully Black, Justin Bieber, Drake and many more.

There is only one term to describe this cover and that is FIREEEEEEEERCCEEEE (shaking my index finger)

Canada’s queen of Hip Hop and R&B Ms. Jully Black has a hot single out called “Running” off her upcoming album “The Black Book”.

Since hearing the song I have had the track on constant repeat and watching the video doesnt hurt either.

The simple black and white video with a splash of rare colour makes the video creative and not another overbearing video.

The message in the song is about power, strength and rising above all odds “running for right for revolution, running for a resolution..”

I loved this song from back in the day. I think I had it on a Black Prom (remember that) cd that my sister had in her room.
