Where else can you find some of the most influential ladies in the Canadian hip hop game all in one room. Presented by Droppin Dimes, Danielle Etienne of Universal Music, Jeni from Flow 93.5, DJ L’Oqenz, Isis of Thunderheist, True Daley, Lady P, Tara Chase and Motion joined in a great panel discussion about the difficulties of female emcees, the ups and downs of the industry and the pressures.

On Friday night i had the chance to attend “S.H.E is a work of Art” presented by JMK Art Collective at The Gladstone Hotel.

The vibe was great and the pieces of work were marvelous. You can really see how people bring life to art with just a stroke and positioning.

Jason OBrien, Kwame Delfish and Mark Stoddart (JMK) gave their interpretation and perception of the grace and beauty of women.

Jemeni, True and Motion performed a lovely spoken word performance.

I cant wait to attend another opening to see the other brilliant pieces from these artist.
